Jeremiah's family has been a part of the West Side Market for four generations. His great grandfather, Robert Stumpf started Robert J. Stumpf's Meats in 1913 (later became Kitchen Maid Meats). Jeremiah started working cleaning coolers when he was 13 and at age 20, opened his first stand, Wiencek's Meats stand #G-9. Five years later, he purchased his poultry stand, Wiencek's Poultry, now located at #G-10. In January 2020 expanded to also offer fresh pork at #G-8.
